Designed to provide a simple electro-mechanical release mechanism for gravity operated devices such as the Landon Kingsway free fall fire valve. The system consists of a steel cable wound around a drum with a solenoid arranged so that when energised, the drum is locked in place. If electrical supply to the solenoid is interrupted the solenoid latch releases the drum, and the weight of the attached load causes the cable to unwind. The MKII incorporates a safe power supply to a float switch whereby the power to the external switch is cut off if there is an emergency. The unit also provides two switched power outputs, one is generally on and turns off in the event of an alarm, the other is generally off and turns on in the event of an emergency.

This manual is quick release mechanism that also contains a pair of change-over contracts that operate either when the button is pushed or when the cable goes slack for any other reason (such as thermal link melting). The electrical contacts may be used to sound an alarm, de-activate equipment or send a signal to a fire control pane.  

The Landon Kingsway Fire Control Panel is used as the main control unit for a fire protection system. It can be connected to various devices using a simple loop wiring system.

The Dry Riser Inlet Cabinet and system is normally a dry unit that is charged by the fire brigade in the event of an emergency. An inlet breeching at ground level provides the connection to the water supply.

We supply a range of sizes at 4-20mA output:

Manufactured from stainless steel and are of the highest quality. Each hydro-static contents level gauge is manufactured and calibrated to each individual oil storage tank to ensure the system can maintain high accuracy alongside long service life. The standard system will comprise of 3 components: hydro-static tank sensor, capillary tube and the hydro-static contents level gauge. Relays and switches are available to fully integrate with BMS systems. The system requires no external power source. Indication of tank contents can be in any units of mass, volume of depth. Tank sensors are available in milk steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium and various plastic materials. Each system is tailor made to each user’s requirements, with data being prepared from the individual tank questionnaire. Depending on tank depth, the capillary may be up to 100 metres long without degrading the accuracy. The sensor is available with a sealed capillary to remote indicators, or for more difficult installations with detachable capillary. 

Very unique equipment. Weatherproof to IP65, comprising a sensor which can be mounted on outside of a tank, or internally in the form of a probe connected to a hydro-static gauge via a capillary. After routing the capillary tube, providing a quick, simple installation, the final connection may be made. Each system is built specifically to user requirements providing flexibility to choose the scale required. The system provides switching functions and communication to a Building Management System. A converter can change the sensor through hydro-static signal, which can control switching points in the relay unit. Repeater gauges can run and give a 4-20mA signal to BMS. The LK400 range performs switching functions directly from the hydro-static sensor. The LK-10 features a two-wire loop level transmitter designed to give a 4-20mA output to signal proportional to the level of liquid above the sensor. 

 This button has a variety of uses where it is required to have a latching push button switch to sound an alarm or de-activate equipment. The switch has both a normally open and closed contact pair which both change state of the switch being pressed. Enclosed Grey epoxy coated die-cast aluminium with red plastic button  

The aluminium Ventguard is designed so it provides ample cross sectional area to vent displaced air from the tank. It also ensures rain and other foreign objects cannot enter the tank. The Ventguard slips over the end of the vent pipe and is quickly locked into position by tightening the 1/4″ Whitworth set-bolt which shears leaving the Ventgaus permanently fixed in position. 

 Our range of free fall fire valves provide a compact, leak-proof positive action mechanism which can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipe runs on oil or any non-aggressive media. The free-fall linkage allows the weight to start to fall before its required to move the valve leaver. This makes sure the weight achieves sufficient momentum.   

Provides high-level alarms for up to 2 separate tanks. The MK III can be attached to up to 2 separate storage tanks via 2 LK float switches. Provisions have been made within LK Oil Flipoint Cabinets(s) for mounting.

The MK III provides a high-level alarm via high-level alarm via LK float switches fitted in the tank. This device is attached to the storage tank via 2 LK Float Switches fitted in the tank (extended version required for low level indication) Provisions have been made within the LK Oil Flipoint Cabinet(s) mounting. 

An inlet breeching at ground level provides the connection to the water supply of the dry riser system. The dry riser system is normally dry and is charged by the fire brigade in an emergency. Breeching inlets to the dry riser have either 2 or 4 inlet connections complete with 2.5” male instantaneous inlets to BS336 fitted with non-return valves and with a 1″ drain valve 

The oil fill cabinet is designed to house all of the standard oil fill equipment used whilst filling the oil tank. The oil fill cabinet can accommodate the oil fill valve assembly, oil contents gauge, overfill alarm, BMS integration and door activated lighting. Oil fill point cabinets are available with or without the inspection window fitted in the door panel. All oil fill cabinets are complete with a locking handle and drip tray as standard 

Free fall fire valves comply to BS799 and are for use on oil line installations. These valves are often referred to as either ‘dead weight valves’ or ‘drop arm valves’. The free fall fire valve can be used as an emergency shut off valve or oil dump line valve and can be used in a numerous amount of different configurations which can be operated by heat, electrically or manually
